Imagine how life would be after abruptly losing your eyesight. When dealing with any chemical, always be careful and take some precautions as it is reported that when they come into contact with your retina, they can cause permanent blindness and seriously damage your eyes
Below are toxic chemicals that can adversely affect your eyes;
1. Ivermectin
It is a chemical used by veterinary specialists to treat parasitic infestations in animals which include head lice, scabies and trichuriasis. A few toxins affect the ocular system and retina. When handling this chemical, exercise caution.
2. Parabens
Most used makeups have a high content of parabens to boost their shelf life. Overexposure to these chemicals can predispose you to permanent blindness.
"Parabens can cause permanent damage to the eyes and even blindness. Most products contain these ingredients as they are less expensive to mass produce and ensure a longer shelf life," says Andrea Rodriguez, a founder of natural skincare line Chalet Cosmetics.
3. Ammonia
Ammonia is one of the preservatives found in makeups, hair dye and moisturizer products. This toxic substance can botch the retina and lead to permanent blindness.
4. Lead
